Call for participants to workshop on: Education leadership and policy in Azerbaijan and the UK: building capacity for school improvement.
Under the British Council and Researcher Links scheme we will be holding a workshop on the above theme at Khazar University, Baku, Azerbaijan on 25-28 March, 2014. The workshop is being coordinated by Professor Howard Stevenson (University of Nottingham) and Dr. Elza Samedova (Khazar University). There will also contributions from other leading researchers Professor Tony Bush, Professor Chris Day (both University of Nottingham) and Professor Hamlet Isakhanli (Khazar University).
We are now inviting Early Career Researchers from the UK or Azerbaijan to apply to attend this workshop. All travel and accommodation/subsistence expenses will be covered by the Researcher Links programme. The application form, with more details on the initiative, is attached and should be sent to Professor Howard Stevenson for UK based applicants and Raziya Isayeva for Azerbaijani applicants before the deadline of 24th January 2014.
