As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to surge all over the world, we are discussing bias and stigma associated with the invisible enemy and ways to prevent them with our guests from the World Health Organisation, MediClub and CAERC. This online session is also part of the annual Diversity Week at the British Council.

This online session will be held on Wednesday, 2 December, 17.00 (Baku time)

Our Speakers

Hande Harmanci

Hande is the World Health Organisation (WHO) representative in Azerbaijan, and Head of Country WHO Office.

Sabina Idrisova

Sabina is a medical professional from MediClub Ltd., where she is the quality assurance and internal audit manager. She also holds MD and MBA in Public Health.

Oruj Dursunzade

Oruj is a project manager of the Creative Spark programme at our partner institution, Centre for Analysis of the Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC). 

Nigar Baimova (moderator)

Nigar is a deputy director of the British Council in Azerbaijan, and overlooks the programme delivery activities in Azerbaijan.
