William Shakespeare, the world’s greatest dramatist, was born 450 years ago, on 23 April 1564. There are celebrations all over the world in honour of this anniversary, and in Azerbaijan the British Council is celebrating all this year - with teachers, students, artists, actors, and everyone who loves Shakespeare.

- Take a photo which reflects the selected quote and add a caption

About the competition
- Everyone and anyone can enter – no age or nationality limits
- Your photo must be in digital format and at least 1 MB and max 5 MB. Photos must be in JPEG or .jpg format, and must be at least 1,600 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 1,600 pixels tall.
- British Council staff and their immediate family members are not eligible
- Photographs must have been taken within two (2) years before the date of entry and may not previously have won an award
- Only minor burning, dodging and/or color correction is acceptable, as is cropping. High dynamic range images (HDR) and stitched panoramas are NOT acceptable. Any changes to the original Photograph not itemized here are unacceptable and will render the Photograph ineligible or a prize
- By entering the Contest, entrant represents, acknowledges and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original work created solely by the entrant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights
- Entrants accept their submissions to be used by the British Council for non-commercial purposes
- Closing date is 3 August 2014
- Each entry consists of a single image. One image per participant.
- Shortlisted photos will be posted on British Council Facebook for voting
- Jury and Facebook voting will be on 4 – 10 August 2014
- Winners will be announced on 11 August 2014
- Ten winners will be selected by Facebook voting at the first stage and three best photos will be selected by panel
- Ten winners will receive invitations to the British Council DJ/VJ show on 15 August 2014
